PEMF Therapy

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy uses electromagnetic waves to stimulate cellular repair and improve overall wellness in horses. This non-invasive treatment enhances the body's natural recovery processes at the cellular level, promoting healing and vitality. The most common brand name for this therapy is Magnawave.

Benefits

  • Reduces inflammation and swelling - PEMF has anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effects that help decrease swelling

  • Accelerates injury recovery and tissue repair - Increases blood flow and oxygenation to damaged tissues, promoting faster wound healing

  • Relieves pain - Works through pain blocking, decreased inflammation, and increased circulation

Solarium Therapy

Solarium therapy combines infrared heat and red light wavelengths to penetrate deep into tissues, promoting healing, relaxation, and overall wellness. This therapeutic treatment warms muscles, increases circulation, and accelerates recovery while also helping to dry and condition your horse's coat.

Benefits

  • Relieves muscle tension and soreness - Deep-penetrating heat relaxes tight muscles and reduces stiffness, promoting comfort and mobility

  • Accelerates healing and reduces inflammation - Red light therapy stimulates cellular repair, reduces swelling, and speeds recovery from injuries

  • Improves circulation and warmth - Increases blood flow to muscles and joints, delivering oxygen and nutrients while removing waste products

Vibration Therapy

Vibraplate therapy delivers controlled whole-body vibrations that stimulate muscles, improve circulation, and enhance flexibility in horses. This gentle yet effective treatment uses oscillating frequencies to activate muscle contractions and promote recovery without additional stress or exertion.

Benefits

  • Improves circulation and lymphatic drainage - Enhances blood flow throughout the body, reducing swelling and promoting nutrient delivery

  • Increases muscle strength and tone - Stimulates muscle contractions that build strength without additional workload or impact

  • Relieves pain - Works through pain blocking, decreased inflammation, and increased circulation

Shockwave Treatments

Shockwave therapy uses high-energy acoustic waves to stimulate healing in injured tissues, reduce pain, and promote tissue regeneration. This non-invasive treatment is particularly effective for chronic soft tissue injuries, ligament and tendon damage, and bone-related conditions.

Benefits

  • Provides significant pain relief - Disrupts pain signals and stimulates the body's natural pain-blocking mechanisms for lasting comfort

  • Accelerates tissue healing and regeneration - Promotes new blood vessel formation and cellular repair, speeding recovery from chronic injuries

  • Treats deep-seated injuries non-invasively - Reaches difficult areas like suspensory ligaments, deep tendons, and bone without surgery

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology taping uses specialized elastic tape applied to specific areas of your horse's body to provide support, reduce pain, and improve movement patterns. The flexible tape lifts the skin to enhance circulation and lymphatic drainage while allowing full range of motion during activity.

Benefits

  • Provides muscle and joint support without restricting movement - Offers stability and proprioceptive feedback while maintaining natural mobility and flexibility

  • Reduces swelling and inflammation - Lifts skin to improve lymphatic drainage and circulation, decreasing fluid buildup and promoting healing

  • Relieves pain and muscle tension - Decompresses tissues and reduces pressure on pain receptors, providing comfort during movement and recovery

FAQs

Common Equine Wellness Questions

How do I know what my horse needs?

Horses are a lot more communicative than we give them credit for. Often times they're trying to tell us what is bothering them and we just don't notice. That's why we'll start each session with history and a moment of observation.

Do you offer packages?

Absolutely! We offer packages both in terms of multiple services in a single visit as well as multiple visits packaged together. We'll discuss what your horse needs and build a package that suits you and them!
